Mardi Gras is an avant garde macro eye makeup inspired by the festive holiday of the same name. A whimsical makeup reminiscent of the masquerade masks donned the festival attendees. The fleur de lis was added as a nod the french culture of New Orleans.

First the eyebrow was glued down flat, then colors were applied. Created using mostly Skin Illustrator Mardi Gras palette. Colors include Emerald Green, Lime Daiquiri and Purple Justice. The fleur de lis is Skin Illustrator Mayan Gold from the Alchemy palette accented with Purple Justice. The long false lashes were painted using the Mayan Gold to match.

Purple, Teal and White Opal Swarovski rhinestones were applied over the eyebrow
